We're creating a new way for mobile game developers to support their game creation passions. Our SDK enables skill-based cash tournaments on Android phones, letting users win big, on the go.
Foosler is the brain child of Eric Finlay and Padli Lumsden who met at UBC in the Engineering Physics program. After realizing that life is more fun when you don't have a steady income, they decided to start a business together. Two impossible gadgets later, a vision was born. A freemium game that blends Tamagotchi and Pokemon. After a brief period of activity we learned that freemium is a manipulative and ultimately destructive force in mobile game design. This led to our creation of Foosler, a backend service that will allow any mobile game developer to integrate skill based cash tournaments. After that
The newly minted Foosler got straight to work determining the legality of our plan. Once everything checked out, development on the App and Server began. We worked like monsters for over a year. Now we have a flexible backend that can be integrated into Android mobile games. Our system allows users to play the game for free as much as they want, with the option of entering a tournament where score and rank determines their cash prize. We hope to give mobile game developers a new way to make games and still make a living. We are launching with 3 of our own games, available on the Amazon Store: Brick Crackers, Color Virus and Ace 10.
